For clients who have fulfilled their agreement in terms of length and/or sum of payments made, we dedicate your final paid month to helping your website migrate smoothly to its new home. There are a few aspects to migrating your site so we do our best to help walk you through your part while taking care of the involved processes on our end.
For clients who do not require site migration, we can provide a full backup of your website at no additional costs. This backup can be given to your new web team to then set up on a new host.
Sign up for a VPS hosting solution with at least 2 CPUs. Have your host, or IT person, setup a WordPress environment and provide us with login credentials.

We recommend that you protect your website from attacks with a firewall solution.

Your site is a living ecosystem of softwares working together to provide end-users with one seamless experience. In order to maintain compatibility, compliance, and protection against cyberattacks, have a team member regularly log in to your WordPress dashboard to keep all software up to date. We recommend checking and updating Plugins, Themes, and WordPress versions once per week.
We find it works best to set a weekly reminder in your digital calendar to log in and update software. Create full server backups before attempting updates in case of incompatibility.
